At M.A.R.S. Europe we specialize in onshore decommissioning, disposal, and recycling of offshore and maritime structures

You will be a part of our QEHS (Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety) team, where your primary tasks will be to localize opportunities for energy savings throughout the organization. You will be working on multiple levels when you are securing that employees are working in an energy optimizing manner, and when you keep management on track for obtaining targets and continuous development.

You are outgoing and curious, and understand that energy management both includes technical aspects, including high quality energy management and reporting – but also softer aspects as education and development of the organization

Your tasks will, among others, include:

  • Prepare and update mapping of energy and resource consumption, to ensure ownership and understanding of contexts and potentials
  • Preparation of reduction targets and objectives for the coming years
  • Preparation and execution of action plans to support the objectives
  • Ownership of our energy management system and its development

Qualifications:

  • Relevant educational background, e.g., energy engineer, project management, consultant, innovation management, or other.
  • Experience with or education in the field of energy management
  • Professional English skills

Personal qualities:

  • Passionate about the environment and sustainability
  • Updated knowledge within the field
  • High level communication skills
  • Systematic and structured when planning and solving problems
